Easytem announced on the 27th that it had secured a total of 17.5 billion won in investment from five VCs including Kiwoom Investment, IMM Investment, Company K Partners, We Ventures, and Laguna Investment.

Easytem will allocate the raised capital towards the development and research enhancement of its professional beauty device "Cell-Riser," expansion of new business infrastructure, and preparation for listing. Additionally, it will establish a one-stop ODM service to enable its major clients, both domestically and internationally, to focus on sales. Through these initiatives, Easytem aims to expand and maintain its technological edge and growth momentum as an ODM specialist in the fiercely competitive beauty and healthcare industry.

Anticipated funding is poised to further propel product promotion and overseas market development, coinciding with the imminent unveiling of various new products through major domestic and international exhibitions, as well as collaborations.

Given the track record of the participating VCs, known for investing in high-growth companies including domestic unicorn

s, Easytem's corporate value has garnered external recognition.

Company sources explain that the expansion of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) businesses, the anticipated introduction of new product lineups for new clients this year, and advanced research in beauty devices have positively influenced investors.

With society aging, heightened interest in anti-aging solutions is rapidly expanding the beauty device market, further boosting expectations for Easytem's business growth.

An Easytem spokesperson stated, "By significantly increasing production of beauty devices while successfully diversifying our product range through advanced technology, we were able to secure investment." He added, "Through the effective utilization of raised capital, we aim to expand and maintain our leading position as an ODM specialist in the domestic beauty and healthcare industry, accelerate our overseas market expansion efforts, and proceed with future corporate listings."

Meanwhile, Easytem has been making strides as a global beauty tech company, having been selected for the 'L'Oréal Big Bang Open Innovation' program at last year's 'K-Global Cluster with COMEUP' event, and receiving the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award.
